Our research
We are a young academic research group working at the chemistry / biology interface
at CY Cergy Paris Université, France.
Our research at the interface of chemistry, biology and medicine focusses on:
-
Translational chemical biology
We are developing novel chemical probes (small molecules, peptides and synthetic proteins) to uncover biomolecular mechanisms of diseases. In particular, we apply tools developed by us and other labs to unmet medical needs in veterinary and human medicine. MORE
-
Methods in chemical proteomics
Approaching biology through the combination of chemical tools to "ask questions" and mass spectrometry-based proteomics to "read the answers" has proven powerful approach. We aim to push the limits in chemical proteomics by developing both novel assays and tailored mass spectrometry methods. MORE
-
Multiple myeloma
Multiple myeloma is an incurable, deadly blood cancer. While recent years have seen tremendous progress in immunotherapies and patient outcome, the causes underlying disease evolution remain elusive. We are approaching this disease with novel molecular tools to develop therapeutic strategies for patient stratification and targeting the disease at an early stage. MORE
